Samantha Janvier Felix, PsyD

I am a Florida-based psychologist licensed in Florida, Pennsylvania, and Missouri. I founded Forward Stride Psychological Services to provide individuals with a supportive, non-judgmental, and confidential space to invest in their personal growth and well-being. My work is designed to help you make meaningful, beneficial changes while building practical skills to navigate life’s challenges, both chosen and unchangeable. Together, we will focus on helping you move forward with purpose, resilience, and a deeper sense of fulfillment.

I work with diverse populations and bring an engaging, practical, and collaborative approach to treatment. My clinical experience includes supporting individuals navigating trauma, life transitions, relationship stress, depression, and anxiety. I take an integrative, trauma-informed approach, incorporating process-oriented work, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Strengths-Based Therapy to tailor care to each individual’s goals and needs.

 

I have extensive experience working with high-functioning, high-achieving, and career-oriented individuals who, despite professional success, may experience internal strain, emotional disconnect or relational challenges. My strengths-based framework emphasizes your existing capabilities as the foundation for meaningful, sustainable growth. Therapy becomes a  space to build and refine insight, strengthen emotion regulation, and find balance between personal and professional aspects of your life.
